This was the first photography workshop I attended. I went to the May 2019 workshop near Mt Hood. Hands down, this was the best weekend of my life. I met some of the most creative and inspiring women EVER. The weekend was packed with shooting and really challenging our creativity to think outside of a normal picture. Cat GIVES so much of herself to her work + the vendors + attendees. It was such an uplifting environment where everyone became your biggest fan to support YOU. Cat is honestly one of the most talented humans on the planet and seeing the magic up close and learning the skills she knows is i n s a n e.
I’m connected to all the rad people still from this workshop + still use all the things I learned from the weekend in my work today. If you’re looking for a photo (or video) workshop, CHOOSE THIS ONE!! You will not be disappointed.

This workshop is more than a workshop. Cat spends the time to teach you new skills, celebrate your successes and gives you suggestions to help you improve. The fact that this workshop is small, allows you to really have one on one time learning as well as gives you the opportunity to shoot without the working around so many other cameras. When I attended, I knew no one, bit I left with so many new friendships! It was even my birthday and all the ladies signed a card, brought a cake, and sang happy birthday ❤️ I would definitely recommend this workshop to all photographers. Thank you Cat for such a wonderful experience!

Oh, where do I even begin? Cat + her team of vendors are amazing. From their attention to detail to the amount of heart they pour into every conversation, everything is just curated beautifully! I went feeling a little unsure of my skills, but everyone was there to learn and to feed into one another. It was obvious that Cat was passionate about teaching because she didn’t hesitate to tell us everything she knew from her years of experience. I left feeling more confident in stepping outside of the box with my photography (um, double exposures and prisms are the coolest) and now have a community of the sweetest + coolest photographers. This workshop changed the game for me and I would recommend it to everyone!!

Cat is the sweetest and a freakin magician when it comes to double exposures. I'm still not quite sure how she makes the most perfect images, but she taught me everything she knows! I had the best time at her workshop and learned all types of techniques I've taken with me into my wedding photography. I'd highly suggest taking this workshop if you are the slightest bit interested in learning how to get funky creative with your work!

Where do I begin!? Cat was so helpful from the very moment I signed up. She was willing to work out a payment plan that worked for me, as well as accommodated my dietary restrictions during the workshop. Every last detail of the workshop was so well planned and all the amazing vendors and ladies who helped out made it perfect. Cat trained us and answered all the questions we had in order to help us perfect what we learned. She was encouraging and so easy to work with. This definitely made my trip from the East Coast worth it and I'm so thankful for my new skills that I can implement into my business!

Best workshop ever! Cat and her team of amazing vendors are the best in the biz! Not only do they put on the most mind-blowing stylized shoots (hello portfolio booster!) but Cat puts her whole heart into teaching each student everything she knows. Cat is made of pure magic + light, and her passion for equipping photographers to embrace their creative power is seriously amazing. I attended the January Workshop at The Honeycomb after being on the fence for a better part of two months. You guys, I almost didn’t go. And I know that I would have regretted it! I learned so much from Cat and her amazing team, from double exposures to prisms, prompting, not fearing bright ass colors and letting of of the”perfect frame” to give way to free-er technique to create art. It’s easy to forget that I’m not just a camera for hire, but an artist. This workshop 10000% breathed NEW LIFE into my artistry. Saying than you will never be enough.
